SecurityGateway 9.5.3 has been released and is live on the website and update checker now.
SecurityGateway 9.5.3 - January 30, 2024
CHANGES AND NEW FEATURES
- [27502] To prevent inbound SMTP smuggling, SecurityGateway now only considers <CR><LF>.<CR><LF> to be the end of SMTP message data
FIXES
- [27521] fix to AD/LDAP UVS configured to use SSL may allow login with blank/empty password
- [27522] fix to SPF does not pass if the sender's SPF record contains an include mechanism with an FQDN that ends in a period
- [27496] fix to a temporary user is created when a User Verification Source verifies a mailbox that has been renamed and the original mailbox name added as an alias. An example of such a scenario is when a user's last name changes after marriage. If the user count in SecurityGateway reaches the license maximum, the system is unable to create the temporary user, resulting in the user not being renamed.
- [27524] fix to messages with subjects that contain non-ANSI characters and are over 256 bytes in length may not be delivered. A "malformed string" exception is logged to the system and routing logs when attempting to add a record for the message to the database.
