Mailing list configuration with saving messages in sent mail.

  Hello everyone,

  I have an Mdaemon version 17.5.5 installation from a customer. I'm trying to configure a mailing list in the mail server through the Mailing list manager menu.
  The setup works perfectly however the customer would need to have a copy of every single message sent with the mailing list in the sending user's sent mail.
  Is it possible to implement this functionality?

  MDaemon 17.5.5 is no longer supported, but I'll try to get you pointed in the right direction. MDaemon does not offer a way to place a copy of every single message the list creates in the senders sent items folder but you might be able to do it with a content filter.  Even if the sender sent an email to all the people on the list by adding their email address to the TO, CC, or BCC fields, the email client would only save a single copy of the message.

  The only thing I can think of that you might be able to do is use the content filter to copy the messages to a specific fodler based on the value of the X-MDMailing-List header, but you would need to have the option enabled to "deliver list mail to each member individually" (Setup / Mailing List Manager / Select the List / Routing).
