WorldClient - Inbox SubFolders
-
A user reports that when she logs in, she does not see any of the subfolders. What she does is go to settings>Folders and without doing anything she goes back to the inbox and it shows all the subfolders.
It is very strange, we have deleted cookies from the browser, we have tried in another browser and the behaviour is the same, you have to go to configuration>Folders and go back to inbox to show all the subfolders.
Finally, in the user's WC folder, I changed the user.ini file to user.ini.old, so that it generates the new file and it seems to work.
The user had some custom settings and wants to have the same thing again, instead for starting from zero.
Can you tell us what value in the user.ini file is causing this problem, so we will remote that value from user.ini?

What version of MDaemon are you using?
What theme are you using?
Is the User.ini.old file set to read only?
Can we get a copy of the user.ini.old file? Please upload it to https://mdaemon.sharefile.com/r-rc3922c1eed334d4dbf5e34f0bd04ccd6

Hi Arron,
Thank you for your response.
1) 24.0.1
2) LookOut, but has tried with all four themes (LookOut, WorldClient, Lite and Pro)
3) No, Only for backup purposes. I changed the name from user.ini to user.ini.old. Once the your has logged in, the new user.ini file was generated.

Can you also upload a copy of the user's hiwater.mrk from their mailbox folder? Is it set as read only?
Can you provide the names of a several folders that should be showing up but are not?

Uploaded hiwater.mrk file. No, isn't set as read only.
In the user.ini file, in below [CollapsedFolder] you can find all subfolder names.

The current version has a 32kb limit on the list of IMAP folders that are subscribed. This user is exceeding that limit. You can work around the issue by going to Options / Folders, uncheck the box for "Hide Unsubsribed Folders". This will cause webmail to load and show all folders in the mailbox.
We've made changes to this limit for MDaemon 24.5, which is currently in beta.

Solved!
Thank you very much!
