Disk Disappear.


  • There is an issue in the Drive Where MDaemon installated along with users, that disk frequently disappearing which causing the issue in accessing emails and which is taking to long to login to Webmail as well best solution for this.?



  • If the drive is disappearing, my guess would be that either the drive needs to be replaced, or there is an issue with the operating system and the drive working together.  Either way, you need to stabalize the drive so that it is always available for MDaemon.

    1.- Backup the entire hard disk to an image
    2.-Check eventviewer (System) to see if it shows hard disk/partition errors
    3.-Update SATA drivers if there are new ones
    4.-Test with a new Sata cable
    5.-Replace Hard disk
    6.-Change Motherboard
    7.-If none of the above helps, replace the entire Server. (Migrate Mdaemon to new Server (https://knowledge.mdaemon.com/move-mdaemon-using-the-same-directory-path)
