mobile outlook for IOS will not connect to mdaemon activesync

  Is there some special trick to get the mobile outlook for IOS to connect to activesync?

   

  The built-in email app connects and works just fine however we would perfer to use the mobile Outlook app for IOS.  Any help would be appriciated, thanks.

  The Outlook for IOS app actually uses a third party server to connect to MDaemon as opposed to the phone connecting to MDaemon.  I would guess that something, such as authentication failures, has caused MDaemon to block the IPs of the service.  I'd check the ActiveSync log and the Dynamic Screening logs for errors or IPs being blocked that may belong to the third party.
