Air gap refers to a security measure where a computer or network is physically isolated from unsecured networks, such as the Internet. Air Gap Licenses can be issued as a unique authorization for environments requiring MDaemon Email Server to operate in an air-gapped network environment. Because the server cannot communicate in real-time with MDaemon Technolgies' license management and validation system, manual steps are required for installation, renewal, or upgrade of the license.
