  Please edit the registry.  Go to  \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ALT-N Technologies\MDaemon\DynamicScreening\Configuration and change the value of the Server key to be a period ".".

  Then restart MDaemon and open the UI. Do you still get the error when trying to open the dynamic screening UI?

  That fixed it. I note that the server name was a left over from a previous machine that ran MDaemon. When I migrated to the new machine I coped the config files over to the new machine.

  Great, I'm glad that fixed it!  We'll see about adding a check to verify that value is set correctly.
