What version of SecurityGateway are you using? As long as you are using a recent version that is using SpamAssassin 3.4.4 or newer, you can use the DQS plugin for SpamAssassin. If you have DQS enabled in SecurityGateway, you'll either want to disable it, and let SpamAssassin do all the lookups, or adjust the configurations in SpamAssassin so that you are not duplicating lookups.
The DQS plugin and details for setting it up for MDaemon can be found at https://github.com/spamhaus/spamassassin-dqs/blob/master/MDaemon.md. The instructions for setting it up with SecurityGateway should be the same, just adjust the paths as needed.
You'll also need to have the correct license from Spamhaus, you can get a free trial here, https://www.spamhaus.com/product/protect-email-with-spamhaus-and-mdaemon-technologies/.

In case its helpful, SecurityGateawy 9.5 is not the latest version. The current version is 10.0.2

Sorry, my mistake ... no idea where I looked ;)
I am using version 10.0.2. Is it correct that SpamAssassin v4 is used in version 10.0.2?

Oliver,
It is on the roadmap for SecurityGateway to be able to nativly perform the HBL lookups. Once implemented the advantage of this will be more conrol, being able to configure from the web interface, etc. However, Arron is correct that the best approach at this time would be to configure it manually via SpamAssassin.

Hello Mathhew,
the direct implementation in SecurityGateway would really be a great thing. At the moment I have implemented as described by Arron and it seems to work.
Best Regards
Oliver
