    I have been testing the Security Gateway on a Windows Server 2022, which I created especially for this purpose, for a few days now. 

    Since just now, the gateway keeps crashing.

    I have also created a Windows Defender exception for the program folder of Mdaeomons.

    My troubleshooting:
    Server reboot and software reinstalled.

    I have just deactivated the 365 connector again and also readjusted the MX so that the mails land on the server again.

    But what could that be?

  • oops. I reinstalled the software this morning and so the folder is gone.

    But everything has been working again since then. I still have 24 days to test it.

  • We found and fixed the issue.  There is a new SecurityGateway.exe available that corrects the issue at, https://mdaemon.sharefile.com/public/share/web-s21638e08f21749e391c787be2c73f690.

    To use the updated file, simply download and extract the new EXE.  Stop the SecurityGateway service. Rename the existing SecurityGateway.exe found at \Program Files\MDaemon Technologies\SecurityGateway\App, and then place the new EXE in the same directory. Restart SecurityGateway.

    This EXE can only be used with SG 10.5.2.
