Regarding Notification Settings in MDaemon

  • Regarding the various notifications and alerts in MDaemon, is it possible to configure all admin notifications in a centralized interface?

The current setup is too fragmented, and it is very confusing to find the toggle to enable or disable specific admin alerts.

For example, if I want to disable admin notifications when an account is frozen, where exactly can I find this setting?

  • Could anyone tell me how to disable the admin notifications when an account is frozen by hijacking detection?

There is no centralized interface to configure all of the notifications in MDaemon.

There is no option to turn off the notifcation to the postmaster when an account is frozen. There are options to copy all postmaster notifications to Global Administrators and Domain Administrators which can be found in Remote Administration by going to Setup | Preferences | Miscellaneous.

While there is not an option to turn off the notifications, one option to deal with them right now is to use the IMAP filters in MDaemon to delete them.  Main | Account Manager | Select the account that is receiving the notifciations | Edit | IMAP Filters.  Create a new filter something like this:

If the Subject starts with "Account frozen:" and if the FROM header contains mdaemon@yourdomain.com then delete the message.
