critical patch versions for ClamAV

  CLAMAV has released a critical update to version 105.1, which is used in the latest version of MDAEMON.

  "MDaemon Server v23.0 Release Notes:
  SECURITY: [26328] AntiVirus - Updated ClamAV to version 0.105.1."

  Looks like the versions you want to update to is actually

  • 0.103.8
  • 0.105.2
  • 1.0.1

  Our developers are looking into this for our products that include ClamAV.

  In the meantime, it was said that if you wish to download the Windows binaries from ClamAV yourself and switch out the files in the MDaemon directory, it should not cause a problem. I would definitely recommend making a backup of anything beforehand.
