Hi, I'd need to migrate gigas of emails from Hmailserver imap accounts to mdaemon mantaining all imap flags. Any suggested tool? I tried the free imapcopy program without big success. Thanks
I used this tool when I converted from Office 365 to MDaemon. It was about $60 and totally worth it. https://imapsync.lamiral.info/
I have used an Impeccable Migrator Wizard IMAP Migration Tool to perform the G Suite to MDaemon migration efficiently.
Thank you I Will take a look.
I ended up using https://imaps sync.lamiral.info/. Fantastic script. The migration of about 170 GB of email went smoothly.
You can try https://www.shoviv.com/imap-to-imap-migration.html. It supports direct IMAP server-to-server migration and can handle large mailbox transfers. I would suggest testing with one mailbox first to verify folder and flag migration.
imapsync is open-source and specifically preserves read/unread/deleted flags. A user on the MDaemon forum migrated ~170GB with it successfully. Install the free version, then run with --ssl1 --ssl2 for both sides. If imapsync's command-line setup gets messy, Kernel IMAP Migration does the same hMailServer → MDaemon move with a GUI, though you should verify IMAP flag preservation on a pilot mailbox before the full gigas transfer.
