Windows 2022 antivirus exclusions ans settings for MDaemon

    What is the windows 2022 virus and threat protection AV suggested settings?

    We are getting mesages like the one attached and also:

    Mon 2023-05-22 10:23:11.114: *  Socket error 10054 - Connection was reset by the other side!

    Hello Reuben,

     We recommend excluding the entire MDaemon directory from any third party AV software.

    Thanks Marlon for the reply.

    MDaemon directory is excluded, but it seems that spamassassin is puting files  in Windows\Temp folder.

    Please submit it to Microsoft as a misclassification.  To work around it for now, I'd suggest trying to exclude c:\windows\temp\.spamassassin-* files from scanning until the misclassification is corrected.
