HAProxy for MDaemon POP3, IMAP, SMTP

    Is it possible to configure MDaemon POP3, IMAP, SMTP via the reverse proxy HAProxy, when searching for information conflicting comments? This is necessary for a single entry point to all the company's services, including the mail server.

    MDaemon's POP, IMAP, and SMTP services and standard TCP services.  As long as you can configure HAProxy to pass along the original source IP address of the connection then it should work without any issue.  MDaemon won't even know its there. 

    Unfortunately I'm not experienced enough with HAProxy to tell you how do that, but from the research I've done, it looks like it should be possible.

    If its not possible, POP,IMAP, and SMTP will still work, it will just look like all connections are coming from the Proxy server.
