Invitation to Date/Meeting
-
Hi,
we're using MDaemon + Connector (8.01a, 32bit) + Outlook 2016 (IMAP).
Not sure when this started, but when I invite other people to a date/meeting (not sure what's the English word), they only get an empy email from. However it works for some of our team members as before (so they just can click on "Accept/Refuse". So it ought to be something wrong about my account.
Andybody an idea, what to check for?
Best regards
Klaus-Peter

Is the email empty every time it gets opened? If you close and reopen the same email several times does it eventually show correctly?

My first suggestion is to install the released version of Outlook Connector 8.0.1. You can download the released version from https://mdaemon.com/pages/downloads-mdaemon-mail-server-free-trial
Then check your sent items folder for the invitation that was sent to the user who received an empty email and make sure it included the normal content when sent.
Then go to the user's mailbox and find the invitation they received and view the source of the message. Is there content in the body?
What client are they using? Is it capable of displaying an email with a content type of text/calendar?

Hello,
thanks for the quick answer!
We had 8.0.1a already installed - is the downloadable version newer?
The invitation I sent out does still contains the option to choose (Accept/Decline).
The recipient has the same Client as me (Terminalserver) which is Outlook 2016.
I have disabled MDPGP, will try again tomorrow and check on his side for the mails' body.
Thanks for the ideas/suggestions already!

Hello Aaron,
it works perfectly fine after I disabled MDPGP.
As MDPGP does add a attachment -the file with the key- (which we get complaints about), we will disable it permanently and step down in safety/security.
Thanks for your help!
