  Hello! Im looking some more information of the use  MDaemon Connector with  Outlook 365 desktop app, and I wanted to get a clear picture of how it works especially regarding compatibility and deployment with a large number of users.
  
  First, is MDaemon Connector compatible with the MAPI over HTTP protocol/EWS used in the latest versions of Outlook, including those for Microsoft 365? Also, how closely does it replicate the native MAPI/Exchange functionality in Outlook, and are there any significant limitations to be aware of?
  
  In terms of deployment... what’s the best approach for rolling it out across multiple machines  is GPO, MSI, or silent installation recommended?I would like to ensure that key Outlook features like categories, reminders, shared tasks, calendar/mailbox delegation, and more are fully supported. Another concern is the performance when syncing large mailboxes (say over 5GB)how stable is that? For mobile devices Android/iOS, is ActiveSync still the best option for syncing email, calendar, and contacts, or is there a better alternative? Finally, how frequently is MDaemon Connector updated, and do these updates typically address compatibility with the latest Outlook versions?
  
  I know this is a lot of questions, but I just want to make sure we have a clear understanding of everything. Thanks so much for your help

  No, It uses IMAP and SMTP to access MDaemon.

  In terms of deployment... what’s the best approach for rolling it out across multiple machines  is GPO, MSI, or silent installation recommended?

  The client installer is available as an EXE and MSI.  The MSI can be deployed.  MST files are provided for a number of languages. The best approach depends on what works best for you.  To start with, I'd suggest deploying it by manually installing the EXE and familiarizing yourself with the client and its functionality.  Once installed, the client includes an updater and will prompt the user to install new versions available from the server.  The server also allows you to configure the preferred settings for the clients, so that once the client is connecting to the server, changes can be made without needing to go to every workstation.  

  Also, how closely does it replicate the native MAPI/Exchange functionality in Outlook, and are there any significant limitations to be aware of? I would like to ensure that key Outlook features like categories, reminders, shared tasks, calendar/mailbox delegation, and more are fully supported. Another concern is the performance when syncing large mailboxes (say over 5GB)how stable is that?

  I encourage you to take advantage of the free trial to assess whether it meets your needs. Since we're not familiar with how your users typically handle email, our expectations may differ from theirs.

  Yes, ActiveSync is the best option.
