Log files

  • Would you happen to have documentation on all the log files?

some are pretty self explanatory but wanted to get details if possible.

    like WebAdmin and WebAdmin-HTTP.

we see activity in WebAdmin-HTTP with IP's that shouldn't be there.

    Thank you.

  • No, we do not have documentation on all the log files.

The Webadmin-HTTP log file is the log output from the HTTP server for Remote Administration So anytime an HTTP request is sent to the HTTP server that is running Remote Administration, it is logged in this file.  Its not uncommon to traffic in this log from unknown IP addresses.  This just indicates the IP made a request to the HTTP server.

If you like to get a better understanding of what is happening, feel free to post a log snippet that shows what is happening and we'll help to explain it.

  • Thank you for the quick reply.

Just reading the name of log file, I thought it was global admin log ins. Not admin page of individual users.

Further investigating showed all the pages they accessed and found the details of what they were doing.

Had a little scare from ignorance. 😁
