What's going on at Alt N?


  • We're partners and we've been trying to get support for the past few days. If I call and hit the prompt for partner support, I immediately get dumped into voicemail. Same with the general tech support option. 

    Trying to get to the sales department gave me 6 minutes of hold music and then dumps me into voicemail. Hitting 0 for the receptionist gave me 6 minutes of hold music and then dropped the call.

    I opened a ticket online on Friday and haven't gotten any response (Though, I honestly don't know what I should typically expect for a response time on online submissions).

    17 years of being able to call and almost immediately get a human has trained me to think there's a problem and I haven't been able to find any communication via blog, a thread here, social media post, etc...



  • We received your ticket on Friday and have responded, but it looks like you've opted out of emails with hubspot, our CRM provider, or messages to you have bounced and they have stopped trying to send to you, so you will not have received our response.  We are reaching out to Hubspot to request they opt you back into email and will resend once they do.

    We'll investigate issues with our phones regarding the hold times and hanging up.  When our phones get too busy they sometimes direct customers to voicemail and then we call back as soon as we can.  If this happens, please leave a voicemail so that we can call you back and assist.


  • Hmm so I could have opted out from anyone that also uses hubspot and it would have inadvertantly opted out from you as well? 

    Well thanks for looking into it. In the meantime, I was actually able to resolve our problem with MDaemon, so good news, I don't need support on that anymore.


  • According to what I found on google, hubspot allows you to opt out of email per company.  So if you opted out of email from company A it shouldn't stop you from getting email from company B.  

    I'm glad you were able to resolve your issue with MDaemon, my apologies for all the issues trying to contact us.
