Suggestion for Restricted Attachments Exclusions.

  Hello,

  I would like to suggest that the 'Restricted Attachments Exclusions' feature in the content filter be changed so that it works like the 'Password Protected Files Exclusion' feature in virus scanning. That way, I could allow 1 or 2 restricted attachments for a particular email address without allowing all the restricted attachments for a particular email address.

  We'll look at improving the restricted attachment exclusions for a future version.

  You should be able to accomplish this in the current version using the content filter.   For example, if you want to allow user@localdomain.com to receive all txt files from senders, you would remove *.txt from the restricted attachments list and then create a rule like the following:

  RuleName=Allow TXT files to user@localdomain.com
  Enable=Yes
  ThisRuleCondition=All
  ProcessQueue=BOTH
  Condition01=X-MDAEMON-DELIVER-TO|does not contain|AND|user@localdomain.com|
  Condition02=body|attachment name|AND|.txt
  Action01=copy to dir|"C:\MDaemon\CFilter\QUARANT\"
  Action02=delete|
