MDaemon performance : Server 2025 vs Windows 11

  After much grief with Server 2022 in our small office environment we're considering either (a) an upgrade to Server 2025 or (b) a dedicated Windows 11 machine for MDaemon.

  What's the official recommendation for 5 users?

  Our System Requirements page lists examples along with number of users here:

  https://mdaemon.com/pages/mdaemon-system-requirements

  It does not really have examples for Windows 11, because that is more of a desktop system, and is not configured by default to prioritize backgrounds processes like a mail server. It is difficult to make a suggestion between the two OSes for you because I don't have the knowlege of your needs or priorities other than number of users.

  Personally, I tend to lean towards a server OS for server applications because it is configured by default to perform better in that situation.
