Hi there,
I have a new SSL certificate for our MDaemon server, but I’m unable to add it. The file is in .crt format. I managed to add an SSL certificate last year, but this time it does not appear in the SSL list inside MDaemon.
MDaemon only displays certificates that include the private key. CRT files do not typically include the private key. You'll need to request a certifcate that includes the private key from your provider and then import that into certifcate manager on the MDaemon server.
Here is some additional information that may be helpful.

Hi there,
How to generate CSR file from Mdaemon? This first step that we need to send to SSL provider?
MDaemon does not generate CSRs. You can use Windows tools to create the CSR, such as certreq. Here is a KB article that explains how to do it, https://knowledge.mdaemon.com/how-to-create-a-csr-and-import-a-third-party-ssl-certificate-for-mdaemon-using-certreq.
