MDaemon not opening

Hello,
When we double click on MDaemon.exe, it does not open anymore.
Not sure if it was the update but started happening after the update to 26.0.0 yesterday.
Any others having the same issue?
Email works fine. Meaning no issue accessing through WorldClient.
Just not able to access through the server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It probably means there is a mdaemon.exe process that is hung. If you open task manager and look at the processes, are there two mdaemon.exe processes running?
If you reboot does it start working again?

Yes, I actually see 3 MDaemon for windows on Task Manager.
And no, the reboot did not fix it.
It was doing the samething yesterday but I just left it think a reboot this morning might resolve the issue but it hasn't.

If a reboot is not fixing it and there are 3 MDaemon.exe processes running after startup, then I would guess that something is causing MDaemon to be automatically started multiple times. Typically the MDaemon Windows Service has a startup type of automatic or delayed so that it starts when Windows boots. This should cause a single MDaemon.exe to appear in the process list task manager and most of the time it will be running as local system. Check the Startup Apps (and anything else in Windows that can start an application) to make sure its not configured to start mdlaunch.exe or mdaemon.exe.

I'm not seeing anywhere that's configured to automatically start. No configuration changes were made other than the 26.0.0 update.
I think there are 3 because I tried to open it multiple times.
We will check again tomorrow after the system reboots.
If not, we'll call in to open a ticket.
