Some messages stuck in Bad Queue in v26.50, "No CTL file found for Inbound Message"

    Hello everyone

    Since upgrade to v26.50 we've seen messages stuck in Bad Queue with X-MDBadQueue-Reason: No CTL file found for Inbound Message
    If that means anything, all of the messages were for the mailing lists, not for individual users.
    Anyone else seeing this?

    Below is the related ALL log part
    What would be the correct way to get these messages un-stuck? Outside of copying msg to each mailing list user

    I'm attempting to reproduce the issue.

    1. Can I get all of your logs for the day to analyze? 
    2. Do all list messages fail or only some? 
    3. Can I get your MDaemon\app\cfrules.date file?
    4. Can I get a copy of e:\mdaemon\queues\bad\pd5001000001746.msg

    Hello Arron
    I've released stuck message, but when it happens next time I will upload it.
    Do I upload logs and cfrules.dat even if I don't have the message itself?
    For day and a half since the upgrade to v26.50 it happened 3 or 4 times.
    Never seen that before, so I thought to ask

    Preliminary analysis shows that this happens when the content filter takes too long to scan a message.  There are a couple of things you can try to work around the issue

    1. Turn off the option for Apply content & Spam filters to list mail before cracking individual copies.  I know this sounds backwards, but it should help to prevent the issue.  This can change how rules are applied so it may not be possible in your enviornment.  

    2. Remove content filter rules that you don't need

    3. Add a rule to stop processing for messages over a certain size.  

    4. downgrade to 26.0.

    I'll let you know as soon as I have more information from the development team.
