“Room” mode for webconference – Webmail theme or MDaemon Instant Messenger evolution

  Hello,

  We are very pleased with the new 26.5 version and its redesigned Webmail interface, especially the integrated webconference and AI. Would it be possible to offer a Room mode for the webconference in a future release, similar to Zoom Rooms or Teams Rooms devices? We see three possible approaches:

  • a dedicated Webmail theme for meeting rooms;
  • an evolution of the MDaemon Instant Messenger, with a full-screen Room mode;
  • a dedicated product, such as an “MDaemon Rooms” application for meeting room PCs.

  The idea would be to equip our meeting rooms with a Windows mini PC and a touchscreen, running a simple interface with large buttons for the main functions:

  • create a meeting
  • join a meeting (today’s meetings from the room calendar, or by code)
  • share screen
  • adjust audio and camera settings
  • mute the microphone, leave the meeting, etc.

  Is this something you would consider?

  Thank you,

  Cédric - IT Manager

  Thank you for your feedback.  I've added your request to our wish list and it will be considered for future versions.
