Calendar reminder Issue

How was the user migrated to the new domain? What steps did you take? I'll replicate it in a test environment and see what happens.

From the account manager, I opened the account editor and changed the mailbox domain with the drop-down list

We have found an issue with reminders when the mailbox path changes. Based on the data you sent, it looks like the mailbox path is changed when you changed the account to the new domain. You should be able to work around the issue by doing a search and replace in the MDaemon\app\reminders.dat file and changing from the old mailbox path to the new mailbox path.
For example if you move user1 from domain1.com to domain2.com and the mailbox path is updated, you would do a search for c:\mdaemon\users\domain1.com\user1\ and replace it with c:\mdaemon\users\domain2.com\user1\. Then save the reminders.dat file.
