Mdaemon activeSync and outlook calendar
-
Hello.
An MDaemon, where a user has configured the account with Active Sync, if happends that when accepting the calendar event, it is created twice in Calendar. Automatic aceptance of Calenar events in Outlook is not signed, and is not possible to be selected, as appears in grey.
When they access to Web to accept it, is created just once. And it just happened when the calendar event is sent from MDaemon, when is sent from other mail server, accept it creates just once in all places.
Thank you.

By default, MDaemon will add incoming meeting requests on the user's calendar, marked tentative. It appears on the calendar in a lighter shade to indicate the calendar event has not been accepted.
Outlook profiles connecting via ActiveSync does this as well, leading to what appears to be duplicates. You can disable the option in the user's Settings menu in MDaemon from marking meeting requests on the calendar as tenative.
Open the Account Manager, find the account you'd like to modify, select Settings, and uncheck "Automatically place new meeting requests on calendar, marked Tentative."
