    Please review the bad archive queue to determine why these messages could not be archived. Common causes include invalid domain or user IDs, or problems with the archive store.

    I am unable to find this Queue to review it or figure out what is happening.



  • It should be under Setup/Users | Archiving | Failed Messages. 

    I will create an task to improve the findablity of this queue, I can see how it might be more difficult to find than it should be.


  • I actually did find it, but it shows no messages.

     

    C:\Program Files\MDaemon Technologies\SecurityGateway\Archive\Queue\Failure

    If I look on the server in the folder, I see them there, MSG and CTL files.

     


  • I had had a power outage and for some reason, the archive on the external drive wasn't working.  I looked in the system log and saw the errors.

    I restarted the SG service and things started working fine.
