  HI, 

  How could I make a mailing list that was only for internal use?

  That no one outside the organization can use it.

  any ideas.

  Create the mailing list and in the Settings for the list, check the box for "Refuse messages from non list members."

  Then add only local members.  If you want anyone from the local domain to be able to post to the list add *@domain.com as a post only user.  Add addresses for anyone that you want to receive copies of messages sent to the list and normal users.
